Thanks for taking a look at my portfolio! I recently received my M.A. in Magazine, Newspaper and Online Journalism at Syracuse University’s S.I Newhouse School of Public Communications.
Before I received my B.A. in Mass Communications at Ouachita Baptist University, my graphic design professor told me I should become a designer. I only had a minor in the art, so I never took his words seriously. Then I arrived in Syracuse.
While taking a reporting class and a visual communications class during Newhouse’s six-week boot camp for grad students, I realized my love was for the design side of the communication world. I found my focus and am now carving a path in print layout and illustration.
